Pete Fountain Funeral Booklet

Pete Fountain Funeral Booklet

It is truly wonderful to go to a funeral and obtain a Funeral Booklet,
an order of procedures for following the service, in this case it was a Roman Catholic, Rite of Christian Burial, once it had the beautiful name of “Requiem Mass” and Black or Violet Vestments were used. Yes, it was and is a sad time, as it was with Pete’s passing, however there is always a joyous side to a Catholic Funeral, the departed persons’ soul would be welcomed into Paradise by the Lord Himself.
(But in line with true Catholic teachings).

In recent times we have adopted the new name for the Funeral Service with White vestments, I would prefer Black when I pass, but on one has them these days. Truly, White does represent Joy and Celebration (but should not immediately promote deceased person to Sainthood), I have always held my Fathers’ opinion, that if I get into Purgatory I am truly saved. As I am indeed a sinner.

Below please find Pete Fountains’ Funeral Booklet, with a massive thanks to John Titsworth from the Pete Fountain Half/Fast Walking Club (facebook page)
