A Personal Dilemma

Sometimes I pose a question
To myself I do
Why don’t you keep your mouth shut
Like the others do

It would be O so easy
To hide myself away
Locked away in closet
My opinions not to say

Have I the right to make a stand
On things I see so wrong
Maybe I’m wrong, so wrong myself
Just leave it to the throng

Somethings I see around me
In the Church I love
Tears the soul right out of me
For Jesus Christ I love

He instilled this spirit
The one I do so fight
Please stand beside me Jesus
I’m tempted to take flight
